The Players&#8217; Compendium: Your Guide<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The documentation in the Players&#8217; Compendium is your guide to the rules and mechanics of the Aytherfell RPG system.<\/li><li>It contains all the Out-of-Character (OOC) information needed to understand the framework, while separate pages for Xyrzia provide the specific lore and context for the game.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Objective<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Lead your faction to victory by accumulating the highest <strong>Faction Influence Score<\/strong> (FIS) at the conclusion of the game cycle. These cycles can last for a quarter, half, or full year. At the end of each cycle, the top five influencers\u2014the players with the highest personal Faction Influence Scores\u2014will also be recognized.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>How to Earn Influence<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The key to winning is to expand your faction&#8217;s reach across the land. Your total regional influence is a combination of your standing in parcels, population centers, and with the local populace. Influence is tallied periodically to determine which faction holds dominance in a given region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Controlling the Land (Parcels):<\/strong> Every parcel of land displays an <strong>Allegiance Flag<\/strong> representing the faction with the most Faction Influence. To expand your territory, visit your faction&#8217;s headquarters to get a few hand-held Influence Flags. You can then travel to an unclaimed or rival parcel and plant your flag to assert your faction&#8217;s dominance.<\/li><li><strong>Winning Hearts and Minds (Population Centers):<\/strong> The villages, towns, and cities of Xyrzia are always in need of supplies. You can gain influence by delivering resources to the local <strong>Supply Board<\/strong>. For a greater reward, pick up a <strong>Waybill<\/strong>\u2014a specific request for a certain quantity of goods\u2014and complete it for a boost to your influence. Any faction can compete for influence in these centers, but your faction&#8217;s headquarters remains a safe haven with unchangeable influence. However, at your headquarters, you must assist in preventing civil unrest. Your civil unrest at your faction&#8217;s headquarters becomes a percent multiplier to your total Faction Influence Score. If your population at your headquarters is 50% happy, your total Faction Influence Score will be calculated as 50% of the total at the end of the cycle.<\/li><li><strong>Building Alliances (NPCs):<\/strong> The local non-player characters are a key part of the landscape. Through conversation and diplomacy, you can subtly sway their loyalty.
